It may seem like yesterday you had to feed your child, and now, she’s feeding herself as well as learning to dress herself and independently use the bathroom. Likewise, she is continuing to increase her vocabulary and learning to use language effectively to share her thoughts with others. You’ll want to continue to help her develop skills in self-care and communication so that by the time kindergarten rolls around, she will be age-appropriately independent.
